Having lived all over the South, Dr. Julapalli came to Houston in 1988. He attended Westfield High School in Spring, Texas, and was valedictorian of the Class of 1992. He entered Stanford University as a National Merit Scholar. He graduated in three years with a B.S. with Distinction in Biological Sciences and earned membership to Phi Beta Kappa. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha during medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He published several papers during his fellowship training and presented at the Plenary Session of the 2004 American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Meeting. In establishing Integral Gastroenterology Center, P.A. in Spring in 2005, he has come full-circle.

He is a clinician at heart but enjoys teaching gastroenterology trainees as a Clinical Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society.

In spare moments, he enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and following his beloved New Orleans Saints.
