The practice of gastroenterology, and medicine in general, has become technologically heavy. Endoscopic procedures are an indispensable part of diagnosing and treating many gastrointestinal conditions. At IGC, we are fully trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. That’s why we strive to keep a close connection between you and our practice in scheduling appointments, discussing test results, and addressing questions. When you call us during regular business hours, you will reach our small, hard-working staff, not an endless, automated phone system. An answering service is available to take calls at all other times of the day. Often Dr. Julapalli will follow-up with you directly. And since from our inception we have believed so strongly in electronic connectivity, your electronic medical record is at our fingertips to help us address your concerns readily.

A Team Effort

As a gastroenterology practice, IGC often acts a consultant to your other providers. We feel pride that your other providers trust us to serve this role. As such, we feel it essential to communicate effectively not only with you, but with them as well. We know that your referring provider wants us to see you quickly and communicate back efficiently about our evaluation and recommendations. Our electronic medical record system allows us to do just that. We send initial consultation notes, procedure reports, and follow-up records as soon as possible to your referring provider. If we have to refer you to another specialist ourselves, we are able to provide your record readily to the specialist.
